Editor's Thoughts: As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I can be incredibly picky about my coffee. I’m always on the lookout for the best coffee shops in West Hollywood, and a few weeks ago I happened to stumble across Drip & Dolce. Not only was the signature coffee absolutely incredible, but I also discovered that the café is queer-owned and woman-led... triple win in my opinion! It’s rare to find a space that nails both quality and community, and Drip & Dolce manages to do both with style and heart.
Nestled in the heart of West Hollywood, Drip & Dolce is more than just a café — it’s a vibrant celebration of creativity, community, and queer joy. This queer-owned café in West Hollywood is the vision of Morgan Salmans, a lesbian entrepreneur and founder of Trifecta Hospitality Group, who has brought her passion for inclusivity, storytelling, and hospitality to every corner of the space. From the moment it opened its doors on September 13, 2025, Drip & Dolce has set itself apart as a place where identity, artistry, and human connection meet.
Specializing in artisanal coffee and couture croissants, Drip & Dolce offers a rotating selection of inventive flavors like Caramel Brúlée and Banana Bread Lattes, alongside full breakfast and lunch options, a children’s menu, and handcrafted beverages including lattes, matcha, and refreshing teas. Every item is crafted with care, reflecting the café’s commitment to both culinary excellence and a welcoming atmosphere for all.

Located at 8807 Santa Monica Blvd, in the former Hollywood Burger space, Drip & Dolce has quickly become a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. Open daily, it is a hub where community members can gather, feel seen, and enjoy some of the best coffee and pastries West Hollywood has to offer. As a woman-owned, queer-owned café in West Hollywood, Drip & Dolce is more than a place to eat and drink... it’s a space built for connection, inclusivity, and celebration of queer culture.
We recently asked Morgan Salman, Drip & Dolce Visionary, "what does queer joy mean to you? Morgan replied, "Queer joy is watching someone walk into Drip & Dolce or an event I’ve produced and instantly feel safe, seen, and celebrated. Joy has become a powerful form of resistance. It’s choosing love over fear and refusing to let the hardest moments define us.
Above all, queer joy is hope. It’s knowing that each story we share, each space we create, and each moment we show up authentically makes life a little easier for the next generation. It’s a bright, resilient force, one that reminds us that despite everything, we are still here, still thriving, and still joyful"
Whether you’re stopping in for a morning latte, a couture croissant, or a leisurely brunch, Drip & Dolce invites everyone to experience a café where identity is celebrated and creativity is always on the menu. It’s a space that embodies queer joy, community resilience, and the power of building the room you want to see in the world.
